St. Teresa Academy's upcoming production of Greater Tuna will travel to Edinburgh, Scotland to participate in the world famous Fringe Festival in August, 2010.

Corpus Christi Irish Arts Assoc., Inc., parents and members of Mo Cushla Irish Academy of Dance are conducting a Trinity Fundraiser campaign to raise money to support their annual Texas Coast Feis. Funds may also be used for costumes, flags, banners, hats, gloves, music, equipment, and other items necessary for performances. All dancers of the Mo Cushla Academy of Irish Dance will benefit from the funds raised by this campaign. They need your support!

New World Celts:

To promote awareness of the outstanding contributions and history of the Celtic Peoples in the formation and continuance of the New World.

To provide a forum for the exchange and promotion of Celtic cultural information between the Celtic Associations of the New World; To act as liaison for coordination of and assistance to these Organizations.

To provide a vehicle for charitable donations to promote Celtic culture in the New World in the areas of Cultural awareness, music, dance, athletics, re-enactments, and other areas deemed appropriate by the International Board of Directors.

To support all Celtic cultural non-political, non-religious, non-racist organizations that espouse the same high ideals as ours, regardless of whether they are Scot, Irish, Galician, Manx, Welsh, Breton, or Cornish.

To perpetuate Celtic Culture and history in the New World.

To provide a fraternal atmosphere for members.

December 5-6, 2009 - Souther Region Oireachtas 2009. Trinity Fundraiser will be "On Display" and raising money for Irish Dancers at this Irish Dance Teachers Association of North America - Souther Region Feis. Dance schools representing 12 state's will be competing for a chance to go to the World Championships in Ireland 2010. www.idtana-southernregion.com

"A Tribute to Tommy Makem" to raise money for Pediatric Brain Tumor Research at Children's Memorial Hospital in Chicago.

Tommy Makem was extremely influential in Irish music and his work with the Clancy Brothers started the craze of Irish music heard in pubs throughout the world today. He died in 2007 after a long battle with cancer.

In his memory and to raise funds for Pediatric Brain Tumor Research at Children's Memorial Hospital, Trinity Fundraiser "packets" will be distributed at this wonderful and worthwhile event.
